Rest in peace my friend. From the first moment we met, you were a devoted true blue friend. I cannot think of anyone else that enjoyed every second of life more than you did. Even though your nickname was “Mean Barbara Jean,” there was not a mean bone in your body. You were an excellent cook but most of all, I will miss your deviled eggs (although on my birthday you set the eggs on the stove to cook and forgot about them and they blew up to the ceiling and all over your kitchen). Barbara was a fanatical Colts fan that could be heard cheering her team on football Sunday from outside the house and possibly a block away. She would always text me during the game GO COLTS. I will miss that too. Barbara had personality plus. I will miss that the most. Most of all, I will miss Barbara.

Barbara,
You were more of a mother to me than my own biological mother. You were there for me and both of my children through good and bad. You helped me so much with Chandler right after he was born.
You and Jim were amazing grandparents to both of my children, Chandler & Courtney, even though my daughter wasn’t either of your biological granddaughter.
For that, I will always have the utmost respect for you & Pappaw.
I’m sorry you suffered for as long as you did.
I will always love & respect you.
We will always love you & miss you,
Beth, Chandler & Courtney

Barbara
Our prayers are with you and Jim as you journey to a better eternal resting place. Jim always held you high esteem and upmost respect with a twinkle in his eyes and a smile on his face when speaking of the Boss (“Barb”) You will be missed. Rest in peace.

Rest in peace barb, may your next journey in life be just as good or better than this one. You will be missed by many, and always remembered by all. God bless your lived ones. Left here on earth.
